VehicleFactbook is operated by Three Pines Company LLC. EPA's fuel-economy file dated Sep 29, 2026 lists 32,430 rows for model year 2000 and newer: 87 make names, 1,025 models, and 8,158 model years. This site publishes 86 makes and 1,016 models after spellings that normalize to the same name share a page, including Mini and MINI. NHTSA's recall file dated Oct 23, 2026 contains 13,712 vehicle campaigns with a report date in 2010 or later, and the pre-2010 file contains 12,721 vehicle campaigns. The complaint file dated Oct 23, 2026 contains 1,608,391 distinct vehicle complaints.
VehicleFactbook publishes recall campaigns, complaint counts, investigation records, EPA fuel economy, and NHTSA 5-star ratings for passenger-vehicle model years in the EPA fuel-economy file from model year 2000 on. The figures are copied from those public files. The site does not sell vehicles, score reliability, or adjust complaint counts by how many vehicles were sold.
